Recommendations: Sliding Stem Fabricated Gate Valves as those manufactured by Fontaine with wall-mounted design that ensures full closure can eliminate salt water intrusion and can be automated for self opening on high water level (inland). Draining of inland water is essential to allow capacitance for heavy rainfall.

Valves in perfect working condition but should be automated for better efficiency.

Recommendations: To automate all gates to open fully on increased inland water level providing that there is low tide.
